Balotelli and his brother Enoch had driven south to visit the daughter of a friend, Issy Beni, who had celebrated her birthday on Sunday.
Salvatore Palmieri, of Palmieri’s in Furze Platt Road, said the Italy international ate pasta and meatballs after the kitchen had been kept open specially for him. He was “easy going” and “a good laugh” according to Palmieri.
